2009 Q2Cfestival : Every year, the Perimeter Institute in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada presents a festival based around science and technology. The festival is called the Quantum to Cosmos Festival (or Q2Cfestival). I was asked to assist with the photography at this year's festival. Those assisting with the photography were to take pictures of behind the scenes activities as well as the people directly involved in each part of the festival.

The first series of photos are taken in the large tent - called the Physica Phantastica Exhibit - put up in the public square in Uptown Waterloo. One of the things inside the tent was a model of the newest Mars Rover. I was there for the setup of this model.

The second and third series of photos in this gallery are shoots of the filming and live broadcasting of The Agenda with Steve Paikin. This is a TVO production. The first episode is entitled "Are We Bound For Space?" and deals with the issues involved with humanity expanding beyond the reaches of our planet. The second episode is entitled "Wired 24/7" and deals with the issues surrounding communications technology and the impact of that technology which never shuts off or sleeps.
